Kim Kardashian surprised producers of the all-female cast of Ocean’s Eight when she agreed to do a cameo for the jewelry heist film in the wake of her own jewelry heist nightmare.
Page Six reports that Kim came back after a three-month hiatus to film her part in the star-studded movie which is set to feature her sister Kendall, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter, among others.

The cameo comes almost four months after Kim’s own brush with jewelry bandits. The full police report from Kim’s experience was recently released, and detailed how a group of masked robbers forced their way into her hotel room to rob her of around $10 million.
According the report, Kim said that she heard footsteps outside of her door sometime before 3:00 a.m. She shouted, asking who was there, but received no answer. At approximately 2:56 a.m. Kim called her bodyguard, and that’s when she saw two people walking towards the sliding door with a concierge, who was tied up. Both men wore hoods, while one also wore a ski mask and a cap and a jacket with the word “Police” written on it.
The men, which Kim said had strong French accents, turned their gun on her, forcing her to show them where her jewelry was. That’s when they grabbed Kim and forced her into the entry hall. She was wearing only a bathrobe and was “naked underneath.” They brought her back into the room and threw her on the bed.
The men allegedly tied her hands with plastic cables then taped her mouth and legs. They carried to the bathtub and left there as they continued to take her belongings.
Once the men left, Kim freed herself and phoned authorities.
Police have since apprehended those involved with the burglary, including Aomar Ait Khedache and Didier Dubreucq.
Altogether, eight people reportedly involved in the incident have been charged.
