CRITICAL! Young teen missing from D.C. area

The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., is looking for a 13-year-old boy who disappeared on Friday,

Shawn Weldon was last seen at his family home off of the 1000 block of Maryland Avenue, NE, on Friday afternoon. He stands 5 feet tall, weighs around 120 pounds, and has curly brown hair and brown eyes. He has a light brown complexion. It’s unclear what clothing the boy was wearing when he vanished. The Metropolitan PD listed Shawn’s disappearance as “critical.”
