Basement Bloodbath: Dismembered bodies found in Massachusetts suburb home

A woman ran from the home on Saturday night seeking help

Police in Peabody, Massachusetts, are investigating a probable multiple homicide in a normally peaceful suburb.

According to CBS Boston, a woman ran screaming for help on Saturday that a crime had taken place in a home on Farm Avenue. After she flagged down police, investigators reportedly discovered at least one and possible more bodies dismembered in the basement of the home.

There are few confirmed facts in the active investigation, and a Boston-based reporter has said on Twitter that a boyfriend and girlfriend are believed to have been shot to death.

According to CBS Boston, police have made prior arrests at the home, on drug and gun charges.

The names of the victims have not been released, and no suspects have been named at this time.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
