Former employee is charged with stabbing his ex-boss to death

A former employee at an Orlando, Florida, Walmart is accused of stabbing his former employer to death, according to Orange County.

Click Orlando reports that Caswayne Williams, 23, is accused of stabbing 25-year-old Davon Brown on Wednesday afternoon, in the Walmart parking lot at 902 Lee Road. The incident occurred a little before 9:30 a.m.

According to Brown’s aunt, Sabrina Jones, Brown worked as a store manager and was Williams’ employer. Jones said that Williams was reportedly a “trouble employee” who gave Williams a hard time at work. Eventually Williams was fired.

“He said he would always talk trash to him. You know, curse at him? He was mean to him, and didn’t want to listen. He called me and said he’d (Williams) gotten fired. I said, ‘Davon, just watch your surroundings. You never know what a person might do.'”

Williams fled the scene after he allegedly stabbed Brown. Police found him a short time later at West Fairbanks Avenue and South Wymore Road, and arrested him. He’s charged with charged with first-degree murder and remains in the Orange County Jail with no bond.

Brown was a family-oriented man who had plans to attend college. According to his cousin, Quaye Diaz, Brown had an infectious smile, loved to laugh, and steered clear of drama.

“He’s a favorite among the family known for smiling and laughing all the time. “He never liked drama and wasn’t into the streets. He was an amazing person. No one can fathom this happening to him, it still feels unreal to us.”

Walmart released a statement that read the store is fully cooperating with law enforcement while the investigation continues.
