Urgent! AMBER Alert on missing Tennessee teen

by Leigh Egan

The teen may be in extreme danger!

The AMBER Alert for a missing teen girl is in effect on behalf of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency also issued a “child abducted emergency Amber Alert” for the teen.

Mary Catherine “Elizabeth” Thomas, 15, went missing on March 13 in Columbia, Tennessee. Detectives said she’s likely in extreme danger. She’s possibly with Tad Cummins, 50, who may be driving a silver Nissan Rogue. The vehicle has a Tennessee license plate with license plate number, 976ZPT.

Mary Catherine is described as 5-feet-five inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a flannel shirt. Cummins is described as 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs around 200 pounds.

Cummins may have weapons on him. Investigators urge the public to not approach him. Instead, contact the Maury County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office at (931) 375-8654 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
