Mysterious Pine Bluff shooting spree trail starts with car crash victim found dead by shot to the head

Police in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, are investigating a string of early morning shootings that left at least one person dead on Saturday.

According to ABC 7, a car crashed into a home in Pine Bluff after its driver was shot, apparently while operating the vehicle. Police believe the man, identified as 30-year-old David Ibemesi, was shot in a different location and coasted for an unknown distance.

At approximately the same time, police got reports of a shooting in a different neighborhood, and while officers were investigating that, they got a call about yet another shooting. In that case, the victim was shot in the head and has survived.

Police told ABC 7 they found 15 shell cases near the location of the third shooting. The conditions of any victims of the second shooting is not yet known.

On Wednesday, Pine Bluff Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy. According to ArkansasMatters.com, witnesses saw the suspect drive up to the victim as he was walking on Elm Street. The boy was taken to a local hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
