Young teen girl disappears on family vacation in Colorado

A 13-year-old girl is missing far from home after vanishing on a family vacation in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

According to The Gazette, Adalie Rivera, 13, from Lubbock, Texas, has not been seen since early Friday. She had been staying with her family at the Quality Inn Colorado Springs Airport hotel on Aerotech Drive.

The exact circumstances of her disappearance are not yet known, but a family friend reportedly told 11 News that Adalie is believed to have left the hotel room sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Friday.

Adalie is a Hispanic female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 115-120 lbs. She had brown eyes and naturally dark hair that has been recently lightened with maroon highlights. She reportedly has several light-colored birthmarks on her arms, legs and back.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the teen, who left with no money with her and is not believed to know anyone in the area. Anyone with information is urged to call the Colorado Springs police at 719-444-7000.
