URGENT! Endangered teen left with stranger she met on anonymous messaging app

A 16-year-old girl is believed to have left home with someone she met on the KIK messaging app, and may be traveling out of state.

According to WDIV Detroit, Michigan State Police have issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for 16-year-old Joy Dene Martin of Saugatuck, Michigan, after the teen left home with bags of clothing. According to CBS Detroit, she was seen leaving Saugatuck with someone she met on the messaging app, which does not require users to register their phone numbers, providing a high level of anonymity.

The news station reports that police think the teen may have boarded a Greyhound bus and could be heading out of state.

Police are asking the public to help them find the girl. Joy is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 180 lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes. She has a diamond stud nose piercing. There is no clothing information currently available.
