A man accused of abducting a 15-year-old girl from Tennessee may have been spotted on Thursday at North Beach in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tad Cummins, 50, is on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s (TBI) Top 10 Most Wanted list for kidnapping student, Elizabeth Thomas. The pair were last seen on March 13, in Columbia, Tennessee. Authorities have been combing through leads, but so far haven’t had luck finding them.

Corpus Christi police spokeswoman Gena Pena confirmed that officers were dispatched to U.S. Highway 181 at North Beach, shortly after a call made to the Tennessee Police Department was forwarded to CCPD. At around 1:45 p.m. CST, police were on the beach looking for a silver Nissan Rogue and anyone matching Cummins’ and/or Thomas’ description.

Cummins is described as 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs around 200 pounds. Elizabeth is described as 5-feet-five inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. Elizabeth was last seen wearing black leggings and a flannel shirt. Keep in mind that they may have altered their appearance to avoid detection.

Investigators urge the public to not approach him. Instead, contact 911, or the Maury County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office at (931) 375-8654, or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
