BREAKING: Teen girls dead after falling from beachfront hotel balcony

Two teenage girls have been killed after they reportedly fell from a balcony at a Myrtle Beach hotel.

According to WSCOtv.com, the 16- and 17-year-old girls were students at Mytle Beach High School.  A Horry County Schools spokeswoman told the Charlotte Observer that the girls were in 10th and 11th grades.

The girls were reportedly found on Wednesday afternoon at Camelot By the Sea Hotel on North Ocean Boulevard. It is not yet known how they fell from the balcony or what story they fell from.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge told the Charlotte Observer that the cause of death was massive trauma.

The deaths are being investigated, but a police spokesperson told the newspaper that investigators do not suspect foul play at the time.
