A Umatilla, Florida, woman caused thousands of dollars in damage to her boyfriend’s company owned truck after he drunkenly called her fat, according to a report by Local 10.
Kari Corwin, 25, said that both she and her boyfriend of three years had been drinking when they began to argue. The argument led to an angry rampage that left the truck with dents and shattered windows.
Corwin admitted to the extensive damage she inflicted on the vehicle. According to the report, she threw a tire iron into the front windshield, dented the hood of the truck with a metal yard decoration, then took a water hose, with a sprinkler attached to it, and swung it through the glass of the passenger side window.
Altogether, the damages came to approximately $2,350. The owner of the truck reportedly intends to prosecute.
Sometimes being called fat can have longer lasting damages than a few dents in a truck. In 2016, a teen killed herself after being called fat and ugly.
Brandy Vela was 18 years old when she turned a gun to her chest in front of her family, and pulled the trigger, reported CNN.
According to her sister Jackie, Brandy had been severely bullied.

“They would say really, really mean things like, ‘Why are you still here?’ They would call her fat and ugly. She was beautiful, absolutely beautiful; the only thing people could find to pick on her was her weight.”
The family went to the police for help, but they were told that authorities couldn’t help them. The bullies used an untraceable app, and police couldn’t act until something physical took place.
Brandy texted her sister just before she killed herself. Jackie called her parents and grandparents who arrived barely in time to see their daughter pull the trigger on herself.
