Party House of Horrors: Killer teens partied with friends while dead bodies decomposed in another room

The teenager told police she killed her grandparents because they were “too strict”

The teenage girl who confessed to killing her own grandparents with the help of her boyfriend has reportedly admitted that she invited friends over to party while her grandparents’ bodies were rotting in their home.

According to WLTX 19, Gwinnett County police said at a court hearing on Wednesday that Cassandra Bjorge, 17, confessed to murdering her 63-year-old grandparents, Randall and Wendy Bjorge. The couple was found earlier this month during a wellness check, and police reportedly believe they may have died a week or more before they were found.

In the preliminary hearing, police reportedly said that Cassandra admitted to having friends over for a party at her grandparents’ home after they were dead, and caulking doors in order to cover up the smell of their decomposing bodies.

The teenager also reportedly said that she and her boyfriend, Johnny Rider, also planned on killing more people — including members of Rider’s family and Cassandra’s mother, who reportedly gave her parents custody of her daughter after she became too out of control.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gwinnett County Detective Dave Brucz said in court that Cassandra told police she and her 19-year-old boyfriend killed her grandparents because they had become “too strict.”

Police say that the teens beat the grandparents with a tire iron before slitting their throats.

According to the Daily News, Rider has remained tight-lipped while Bjorge has offered details of the crime.

“She admitted after the murder she was texting family members because they were worried about (the grandparents), and she was pretending to be Wendy,” Detective Brucz said in court on Wednesday.
