The prison inmate believed to have been in a relationship Aaron Hernandez, and who may also have been the last person to see him alive, has been identified.
The Daily Mail has revealed that 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy is the recipient of one of Hernandez’s three suicide notes, and reports that he was the last person to see the former NFL star alive. The newspaper also reports that Hernandez gave Kennedy, who is serving time at the Souza-Baranowski Corrections Center in Massachusetts for armed robbery, a $50,000 watch not long before he hung himself in his jail cell early Wednesday morning.
Kennedy is reportedly in custody for a knifepoint robbery at a Cumberland Farms convenience store/gas station in Northbridge, Massachusetts. According to the Daily Mail, Kennedy’s father Matthew is a businessman living in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. When reporters went to the home to try and speak to Matthew, he ran out of his house screaming for them to get out.
‘Get the f**k away and don’t f**king come back.’
Daily Mail was unable to interview Kennedy’s father or his stepmother Deborah, who was also home at the time. The report claims that “high-level prison sources” have confirmed that Kennedy and Hernandez were in a romantic relationship.
Last week, a Newsweek report alleged that Hernandez had previously been in a romantic relationship with a male high school friend, and that his secret may have been a motive to murder Odin Lloyd.
