BOLO: Police release sketch of man who raped woman in her home during robbery

A woman was raped by a stranger in her Far North Dallas home Thursday, and police are asking the public for assistance in identifying him.

Dallas News reports that the suspect broke into the victim’s house off of Maham Road between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m. The victim told authorities that the suspect showed her a weapon, then demanded items from her home. Afterward, he sexually assaulted the woman and fled the scene.

She described him as a heavyset Hispanic man in his early 20s with short, black hair. He is about 5’7. Police say he spoke Spanish to the woman.
