Video: Woman cries out to God as Good Samaritans save two trapped babies, nearly dead from deadly Texas storm

As destructive tornadoes ripped through Texas on Sunday, a man and his two children got trapped in the storms when their truck flipped over. A video caught the last part of the incident when Good Samaritans came to their rescue.

FaithWire reports that a man, toddler, and infant were trapped inside the truck as water rushed through its windows on Sunday near Myrtle Springs. The water was so strong that the father couldn’t get the doors open. Several people stopped when they saw the truck and trekked through the water to offer assistance. Once they pried the doors open, they saw two young children, barely hanging on. They pulled the dad and his babies out of the truck, but both children were unconscious.

An unidentified woman started chanting a prayer, hoping for a miracle for the children.

“In the name of Jesus, let him breathe Lord. Give that baby breath, Lord! Dear Jesus, please let this baby breathe. Dear Jesus, please let this baby breathe.”

Shortly after, a man shouted that one of the babies was breathing. It’s something that Tom Mitchell, a Good Samaritan, and witness to the event, called a miracle.

Mitchell pulled over and got out of his car when he noticed the flipped vehicle, and although he wasn’t physically able to offer any assistance, he turned on his cellphone and recorded the event.

“The infant is white, going blue-ish grey…..”

Once Mitchell saw the infant’s dire state, he put his cellphone in his pocket and went to the baby, a boy, and gave him CPR. He also gave the toddler, a girl, CPR as well. It was around that time that the unknown woman began to pray.

“Well, the first prayer she said, I felt a response in that child,” Tom said.

The father of the children posted on social media this week and stated that both kids are fine, but the little girl has a long way to go for a full recovery.

“Update on addy bug, she is stable and doing much better. Still under sedation but pulling the breathing tube in the morning to see if she can do it on her own.”
