A New York City couple and the woman’s two small children were flying in a twin-engine plane that vanished in the Bermuda Triangle on Monday.
According to the New York Post, Jennifer Blumin, the CEO of Skylight, the NYC-based event company, was flying from Puerto Rico to Florida with her boyfriend and her two children, ages two and four, when the small plane they were flying in disappeared from radar over the Bermuda Triangle at around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Blumin’s boyfriend Nathan Ulrich, 52, is believed to have been piloting the plane. Ulrich is an engineer, and the founder and co-owner of Xootr, a folding bicycle manufacturer. He was previously married to the actress Rae Dawn Chong.
According to the Daily News, Ulrich’s parents had no idea their son’s plane was missing until a reporter called them on Tuesday afternoon.
“That’s very troubling,” his father said.
Ulrich’s last Instagram post was on Sunday from Puerto Rico. An earlier post of a small child may be one of Blumin’s boys.
The Daily News reports that search crews found a debris field on Tuesday, but there have been no signs of the plane itself, and it is not known if the debris field has any connection to the plane’s disappearance.
The Coast Guard told the Daily News that the search is continuing.
Blumin is a wealthy and successful designer and event planner based out of New York City’s stylish Tribeca neighborhood. She was previously married to James Ramsey, who is the father of her children.
Ulrich’s ex-wife told the Daily News that he is a competent and skilled pilot.
“He’s an excellent pilot. You couldn’t get a better pilot,” Chong said.
“I’ve flown many hundreds of miles with him. It had to be a plane issue.”
