Authorities are searching for a driver who caused a major accident on Wednesday near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, that ended with a school bus full of children tipped to its side.
New York Daily News reports that 16 people, including 15 students, were taken to the hospital after a driver smashed into a bus in in eastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning. It happened at around 7:50 a.m on Lincoln Highway East near Route 896. One of the students, a 6-year-old boy, is in critical condition and remains at the hospital. Twelve others have been discharged.

According to police, the driver attempted to speed around semi-trailer truck but ended up colliding into an escort vehicle. The escort vehicle spun into the school bus, flipping it onto its side. The driver who attempted to maneuver around the semi-trailer truck fled the scene.
Police said that the suspect was driving a light-colored sedan. The car likely has front bumper damage. Anyone with any information that can help find the driver is urged to contact the East Lampeter police at 717-291-4676.
