Louisiana woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend to death with knife

A Louisiana woman is behind bars after she reportedly stabbed her boyfriend to death on Sunday.

KALB reports that deputies with the Marksville Police Department were dispatched to a home off of Todd Drive in Marksville on Sunday, at around 9 a.m. According to the responding officers, 21-year-old Meagan Guillot was in the home with her boyfriend, Case Dupuy, who was lying on floor with multiple stab wounds to his body.

Guillot told officers that she had a fight with her boyfriend, Dupuy, which turned violent. Dupuy was pronounced dead at the scene. Guillot was arrested and booked into the Avoyelles Parish Detention Center. She’s facing a second-degree murder charge.

So far, it’s unclear what led to the argument that provoked the attack. Authorities haven’t yet provided additional details. Check back with Crime Online as new information becomes available.
