Police have released more details on the physical descriptions of the escaped prisoners who shot and killed two corrections officers, as well as the identity of the slain officers.

Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue, both transfer sergeants at Baldwin State Prison, were shot and killed Tuesday morning after they were overpowered by two inmates traveling on a bus to a work detail.

Donnie Russell Rowe, 43, (pictured right), and Ricky Dubose, 24, (pictured left) are suspects in the double murder. They are believed to have escaped a prison bus after killing the corrections officers, and carjacked a green, four-door 2004 Honda Civic with Georgia license plate number RBJ-6601 and a UGA Bulldogs front license plate.

Rowe is a 6’1” tall white male weighing 181 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.Dubose is a white male 6’1” tall, weighing 140 lbs., with brown hair, blue eyes, and extensive tattoos on his face and neck.

Anyone who sees the car or the suspects is urged to call 911 immediately.

“My biggest worry is they’re going to kill somebody else,” Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills told ABC News.

Police are searching for two escaped inmates from a Georgia prison who reportedly killed two corrections officers.

According to CNN, Donnie Russell Rowe and Ricky Dubose attacked and shot two prison guards to death while they were traveling on a bus in central Georgia during a work detail.

The Putnam County sheriff told CNN the deadly shooting took place at 5:45 a.m., and the two inmates then carjacked a green 2004 four-door Honda Civic. They are believed to be traveling west.

Police have not revealed the identifies of the murdered corrections officers.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees men fitting the description of the suspects to call 911 right away.
