VIDEO: Racist mom caught on tape demanding to see a ‘white doctor’ and refusing care for her sick child

A disturbing video, in which a racist mom can be seen refusing care for her sick child, has been making the rounds online. The woman’s young son seems to be in dire need of medical attention, but the angry mother keeps demanding to see a “white doctor.”

The incident allegedly took place at Rapid Access to Medical Specialists in Ontario, Canada and was captured on smartphone by Hitesh Bhardwa, while sitting in the waiting room, according to CTV News.

In the video, the woman can be heard repeatedly asking for a “white doctor” who “speaks English,” however that is only the beginning of what has made this clip go viral.

A patient employee can be heard telling the woman that a white doctor will not be available until later, which begins the tirade.

“So you’re saying, in the whole entire building there isn’t one white doctor?” the angry mom, who remains anonymous, can be heard saying.

“You’re telling me that my kid has chest pains and he’s going to have to sit here until four o’clock? Can I see a doctor that’s white, that doesn’t have brown teeth and speaks English?”

The woman can be heard repeating just how ill her son is, and yet, refusing crucial medical care.

“He’s sick and his chest is hurting, I don’t want to see a doctor who’s not white,” the video shows her saying. “God, what type of horrible country do I live in?”

“Being white in this country… I should just shoot myself.”

A bystander can be heard calling the woman “rude and racist” and even commenting on her parenting skills.

“Your child has more issues with you being his mother than him needing to see a doctor.”

Many other bystanders can be heard telling the woman to simply go to the hospital.

Bhardwa, who uploaded the original video to YouTube, told reporters that the incident left him “disturbed for the rest of the day.”

“Seeing it so openly without any fear and in front of so many people, without even fearing that someone can report her, it was really shocking,” he said.

Police Constable Mark Fischer told CTV News that officers were called to the clinic to investigate multiple reports of a “disturbance.” He did note, however, that the woman was not arrested.

“The officers found that no criminal offense had been committed or was in the process of being committed,” he said.

According to authorities, the woman’s son was eventually seen by a doctor at the clinic.
