An Oklahoma woman who was dead inside a Sand Springs Walmart bathroom for three days was identified on Tuesday, but authorities are still investigating the her cause of death.
Tulsa World reports that Katherine Caraway, 29, was found deceased inside the family restroom at the Walmart located off of West Wekiwa Road and Wilson Avenue. The restroom had an “Out of Order” sign on it. Caraway was seen on surveillance entering the restroom at around 6 p.m. on Friday. An employee entered the restroom on Monday at around 3 p.m. and found Caraway’s lifeless body on the floor.
Sand Springs Police Capt. Todd Enzbrenner said that so far, there is nothing to indicate foul play. A medical examiner is scheduled to perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
“There was nothing suspicious that indicated her cause of death at the scene,” Enzbrenner said. “So the medical examiner will have to determine it.”
According to authorities, Caraway was originally from Celeste, Texas and moved to Muskogee. Family members traveled from Texas to identify her.
