Woman who accused Hilary Duff’s ex of rape is reportedly a ‘hooker who wants revenge’

The rape charges filed against Hilary Duff’s former husband, Mike Comrie, were dropped on Saturday, but reportedly, the woman who accused him is a prostitute who became upset when he wouldn’t loan her money to open a new business.

According to the Daily Mail, a disclosed source revealed that the woman who accused Comrie, a former pro hockey player, of rape, wanted around $1 million to start a new business venture and became enraged when Comrie refused to help her. Comrie was accused of anally raping the woman in February, an alleged “high-end madam” with wealthy clients in several different cities.

Comrie allegedly arranged a “threesome” in February in Los Angeles with the madam and another prostitute. Afterwards, the madam, who apparently knew Comrie from previous encounters, brought up her business plans and when Comrie refused, she filled sexual assault charges against him. The source said that from the beginning of the accusation, Comrie has been cooperative.

“Comrie cooperated with the police from the beginning, he submitted a DNA sample and answered all their questions. Now he’s been cleared.”

The source also said that officers working the case reportedly became suspicious after determining that the madam made similar claims in the past against a police officer.

“The officers working the case became suspicious of the madam when they discovered she had made a similar false allegation in the past. She claimed she was sexually assaulted by a police officer in Yuma, Arizona some years ago, but that case was also dropped. In Comrie’s case there was reasonable doubt over the consent and that was enough for the charges to be dropped.”

The second woman involved in the alleged threesome did not file any charges. According to court documents, the plaintiff said that the assault happened after the other prostitute left. The plaintiff went to a local hospital after the reported incident, but it was determined that her injury, an anal laceration, didn’t necessarily come from non-consensual sex.
