Former kindergarten teacher who admitted to threesome with teen boys facing 40 years in prison

The married mother’s husband reportedly filed for divorce just before one of the alleged assaults

A former Texas kindergarten teacher is facing a slew of charges following an investigation of her alleged sexual behavior with teenage boys.

Court records obtained by the Daily Mail show that Heather Lee Robertson, 38, of Lufkin, was charged with six counts of improper relationship between educator and student, and 15 sexual assault charges.

The sexual assault charges, which have been added on to the initial charges from the time of her April arrest, double the potential jail time the mother of two could serve if convicted on call counts. The Daily Mail reports that Robertson had initially been facing 20 years in prison, but the sexual assault charges could bring that to 40 years.

As Crime Online previously reported, the teacher admitted this spring to having sex with multiple teen students at the same time, but said she had been drinking heavily during the encounters and could not recall all of the details. There are at least four known victims of alleged assault, and multiple different encounters.

Robertson reportedly began communicating with some of the victims via Snapchat before the relationships became physical.

In March, Robertson was reportedly arrested on a DWI charge. She pleaded not guilty.

The Daily Mail reports that Robertson is in custody, held on $200,000 bail.

According to KTRE, Robertson’s attorney had asked the court in May to reduce her bail from $600,000. The same report says that Robertson’s husband had filed for divorce just days before one of the alleged sexual assaults.
