‘Keep us in your prayers’: Toby Keith’s daughter and granddaughter involved in brutal car wreck that was allegedly caused by a drunk driver

Country legend Toby Keith’s daughter, Krystal Keith, 31, has announced that she and her family were involved in a horrific car wreck on July 4, according to Billboard. The wreck was allegedly caused by a drunk driver, making the accident even more tragic.

Krystal Keith, who is a famous singer in her own right, took to Instagram to share a photo of the damage done to her car. It looks absolutely totaled.

She explained in the caption that she and her husband, Andrew Robert Sandubrae, and their infant daughter were hit by a drunk driver on their way to watch fireworks.

“Our 4th turned pretty horrific,” she wrote. “Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family.”

“We all survived the wreck, but it’s gonna take some time to heal,” she wrote. “Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight.”

She also emphatically reminded folks to never imbibe alcohol and then sit behind the wheel of a vehicle, stating “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE,” in all caps.

Krystal Keith has been married to Andrew Sandubrae since 2010 and their daughter Hensley Jack was born in October 2015.

The family was not seriously injured, which is a blessing, however, as seen above, their Mercedes-Benz SUV was utterly destroyed.

According to statistics provided by the CDC, 10,265 people died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes in 2015, accounting for nearly one-third (29%) of all traffic-related deaths in the United States.
