The suspect is accused of carjacking a 75-year-old woman on July 6, in Sparks, Nevada, according to News 4. The carjacking victim reportedly told police that she noticed a small child standing near the suspect during the armed robbery.

The little girl is described as a black female, approximately eight years old, with her hair in pigtails and wearing a yellow dress.

Police told News 4 that the girl appeared to be scared. She is believed to have some previous relationship with the suspect, based on the observed interaction.

Authorities had issued an AMBER alert, but cancelled it on Wednesday “because all leads are exhausted and there are no new leads at this time,” according to News 4, which provided a description of the suspect:

“The suspect is described as a 28- to 35-year-old black male with a thin mustache and thin, 6-foot build. He was wearing a dark blue shirt with a Dallas Cowboys emblem on the front of the shirt and blue jeans.”

Police are urging anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the girl or the suspect to contact Secret Witness at 755-322-4900 or the Sparks Police Department at 775-353-2241.
