Update: Dad of missing Arizona baby offers $5k reward, says baby’s grandparents parents refuse to talk with police

The family of an Arizona baby missing for nearly a month has released a video pleading for his safe return.

Nine-month-old William Jones-Gouchenour and his mother, 19-year-old Madeleine “Maddie” Jones, disappeared June 15 and have not been seen nor heard from since. However, the families of both Jones and the baby’s father, Jacob Gouchneour, have been accusing each other of participating in the disappearance of the pair.

Cassie Jones, Maddie’s mom, has publicly accused the Gouchenour family of kidnapping her daughter previously and believes Jacob Gouchenour is behind the disappearance of her daughter and grandson, as Crime Online previously reported.

In response, the Gouchenour family recently posted a video on Facebook sharing their side of the controversial story. They have also retained an attorney, and are offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the whereabouts of Maddie and William.

In an email sent to Crime Online, Jacob Gouchenour’s cousin, James Sanders, shared that the family has set up a GoFundMe campaign in an effort to raise funds to help locate the missing pair. The campaign had raised nearly half of its $5,000 goal at press time.

Jacob Gouchenour had recently been granted shared custody of his son and was scheduled to have a parental visitation with him, when Cassie Jones called to cancel the meeting. She claimed that William was sick. Shortly thereafter, Madeline and William went missing.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Madeleine Jones or William Jones-Gouchenour, please contact the Mesa Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 480-644-2211.
