Police: Girl gets sexually assaulted twice in one day, by two different men

A manhunt is currently underway in Birmingham, England, after a teen girl was raped twice in one day by two different men.

BBC News reports that the first attack occurred at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Witton railway station in Birmingham, where she was kept for hours against her will. She left the station disoriented and was attacked yet again at around 2 a.m. the following morning. The victim, 15, said she walked to station with a friend when a man approached her, lured her away, and raped her. It’s still unclear why the friend left and why the police weren’t called.

After the first sexual assault, the teen fled the scene and flagged down a man in a car for assistance. When she got in the vehicle, the driver reportedly raped her, then pushed her out of the car and sped away.

The British Transport Police (BTP) and West Midlands Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the men.

The first suspect is described as an Asian male with light skin and brown eyes. He has a “skinny” build and stands around 6 feet fall. He was wearing a jogging suit with black shoes. The victim said he appeared to be in his early 20s.

The second suspect is described as an Asian male in his early 20s, standing around 5-feet-6 inches tall with a “tight-cropped” beard. He was wearing a blue shirt and black jeans.

“This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her. It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened on Tuesday morning as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents,” BTP Detective chief inspector Tony Fitzpatrick said.
