Man, aka ‘Furry,’ admits child sex trafficking of boy at costume parties

A Pennsylvania man admitted that he made a boy dress up in costumes and forced him to undergo sexual assault at fetish parties. He’s one of six people accused of assaulting the child.

Philly reports that the boy, now 16, was forced to dress up as the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes character, “Tony the Tiger,” and attend “furry” parties, where adults in other costumes would sexually assault him. David Parker, 38, Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty on Monday to child sex trafficking as part of a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid life in prison. He was sentenced to 30 years in exchange for his testimony, approved by U.S. District Judge James Munley.

Parker, a self-admitted “furry,” said that he took the victim to Luzerne County several times, where furry parties were held, where other guests, or “furries,” dressed up as animals. Between June 2010 to August 2010, the boy was sexually assaulted at the parties numerous times.

In 2009, the boy attended one of the parties while dressed up as a red fox, and Kenneth C. Fenske, 57, of Milford Township, tried to rape him. Jeffrey Harvey, 40, of West Wyoming, Luzerne County; along with his roommates, Craig Knox, 35, and Stephen Taylor, 30, are also charged with child sex offenses.

The victim told authorities that Parker molested him on numerous occasions before he turned 13. According to a search warrant affidavit, Parker would “would take him to homes or apartments where… other adults would touch (him) in a sexual way.”

Further, the victim told detectives that Parker encouraged Knox to “have at it” with him in an upstairs bedroom.

“Knox stated that during this time the victim appeared embarrassed and looked at the floor as he did what he was instructed to do,” authorities stated.

Fenske, according to the victim, would always remove his costume before raping him.

He was the only child at the adult parties, and although he was allowed to play Xbox, he would later be taken upstairs where the suspects raped and molested him. He said his parents were at the parties but had no idea what was going on.

“I kept it to myself. I didn’t tell anyone.”

The boy finally opened up last year and described in detail years of disturbing sexual assault.

One female suspect, Paige Tasker, 28, who briefly dated Parker, was charged with indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and corruption of minors after she crept into the bed where the boy slept.

The boys is now in foster care and undergoing intensive therapy.
