Wednesday Crime Stories: Natalee Holloway update; child dies as mom gets high; Texas realtor goes missing before Harvey hits

CORRECTION: In podcast on the Holloway case, on August 30th, Nancy Grace mistakenly identified a person named Gabriel as someone she had previously interviewed when the Holloway case was ongoing, and she made comments about Gabriel thinking he was the person she had interviewed before.  In fact, the person named Gabriel is not that person. Nancy Grace and the CrimeOnline team apologize for the confusion.

Natalee Holloway’s parents wait as a forensics expert performs tedious tests on what may be their daughter’s bones. Her father Dave Holloway recovered the remains after a private investigation involving an undercover detective befriending a man who claimed to have helped hide the body 12 years earlier. Investigative reporter Art Harris, medical examiner Dr. William Morrone and Nancy Grace discuss the process of scientifically confirming if the missing Alabama woman has been found in a hidden Aruba grave.

Crime Stories contributor Drew Nelson joins Nancy and Dr. Morrone in the second segment of this podcast to talk about a New Jersey mom (pictured) who allegedly was high on heroin while her child choked on a car seat belt.

Grace, Nelson and Morrone also detail the search for a Texas Realtor who went missing just before Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. Crystal Serrate McDowell was supposedly on her way to pick up her kids from her ex-husband to evacuate them to Dallas when she disappeared.
