Maryland police are searching for a 12-year-old girl, last seen running down a sidewalk in Greenbelt.

NBC reports Kidist Gianna “Jayla” Smith left the Greenbelt Community Center on Monday morning at around 11:30 a.m. Witnesses said the girl was running down a sidewalk on Southway Road, heading towards Greenbelt.

Jayla is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall with black hair with dreadlocks and brown eyes. She weighs around 83 pounds and was last seen wearing green-blue capri leggings and a bright neon green jacket.
