Police arrested a woman who threatened a cashier at the Kardashian’s DASH boutique in West Hollywood with a gun.
Maria Medrano, 31, was arrested Thursday after police used surveillance footage to identify her. Police executed a search warrant in her home Thursday night and found two airsoft guns, according to TMZ.
In the original incident, Medrano entered DASH and pointed a gun at one of the employees, then started yelling phrases such as, “Free Cuba” and “Stay away from Cuba.” The suspect then knocked some item off counters before pointing the gun at the employee again. Eventually she left the store, and police say she didn’t take any merchandise with her.
But Medrano returned to the store later that day with a machete.
News cameras captured the woman pacing the sidewalk in front of the store yelling, “The Kardashians will be executed if they step on Communist territory! They’ll be f***ing killed!!!”
She threatened to stab anyone who told her to be quiet. In one instance, she turned to the Fox 11 crew and pointed the weapon straight at them before threatening to stab them.
“You wanna f—— get stabbed?!”
At the end of her rant, she stuck the machete between the front doors and stalked off. The Fox 11 crew said she turned around once more as she was walking away to threaten them again, this time saying she had a gun.
Police say Medrano was charged with assault and criminal threats. She’s currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
