Prostitute claims she saw the ‘dark and twisted side’ of Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock

In the week since a gunman executed the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, details about the suspect found dead by police have often led to even more questions and speculation.

While investigators and reporters attempt to piece together details of 64-year-old Stephen Paddock and his motive for killing dozens and injuring hundreds at a Las Vegas casino Sunday, one unnamed source came forward to tell The Sun what she claims to know about the frequent Sin City visitor.

The prostitute claimed Paddock had paid for sex with her multiple times in the past and requested she engage in violent rape fantasies with him. She said she spent about nine nights with him in 2015 and 2016.

He would spend nearly $8,000 per visit, typically out of his gambling winnings, the 27-year-old said.

“When I first met Stephen I had left an abusive relationship and was starting all over again with nothing but the clothes I was wearing,” she said.

At that time, she claimed Paddock seemed to be someone with a genuine interest in helping her.

She said the two would go to casinos where he gambled and drank heavily.

“But when he would have a winning streak,” the woman claimed, “we would go back and have really aggressive and violent sex.”

Their arrangement ended when she began a new relationship, she said.

“He had a dark and twisted side,” the woman said. “But even so, I could never have imagined he would do something like this.”

She called him “obsessive” and “paranoid,” noting he expressed his belief in a number of fringe conspiracy theories.

The woman produced text messages purportedly sent by Paddock, according to The Sun, including one boasting of his father’s criminal past.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Paddock’s father was at one time on the FBI’s list of most wanted criminals after he escaped prison where he was serving a sentence for robbing banks.

“I didn’t have anything really to do with him but the bad streak is in my blood,” the message read. “I was born bad.”

Some of the text messages also hinted at violence, including one in which the sender referenced tying the prostitute up and making her “scream for help.”

KABC reported Paddock was seen with a prostitute two days prior to the shooting.
