Fast food worker puts menstrual blood, spit in problem customer’s burger

A former fast food worker who put her bodily fluids in a customer’s burger will spend a year in prison for the disgusting stunt.

According to The Commerical Dispatch, Sky Samuel, 19, pleaded guilty Tuesday to serving “unwholesome bread or drink” in January when she worked at Jack’s Restaurant in Columbus, Mississippi.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Samuel, then 18, had an issue taking a female customer’s order, which led to an argument. The teen reportedly added menstrual blood and spit to the woman’s burger before serving it to her.

The vile incident came to light after a co-worker told their mother what happened. The mother, Tabatha Hollins, in turn, took to Facebook to alert everyone about the January 7 incident.

“There is a poor woman walking around not knowing anything..”if u went to Jack’s between 10:00pm and 10:30pm on 1/7/2017 and u order the big jack with a sprite u got more then ketchup!!!” Hollins wrote, according to The Smoking Gun.

The victim reportedly went to Columbus police on January 13, sparking a criminal investigation that concluded days later with Samuel’s arrest.

The restaurant’s spokesperson, Miguel Piedra, told The Dispatch shortly after the ordeal that Samuel and another employee were terminated for violating company policies “unrelated to any allegations of food tampering.” He claimed the establishment turned all surveillance footage over to police.

A judge sentenced Samuel to five years in prison, with four suspended and four years of post-release supervision. The judge took the defendant’s clean record into account before handing down the yearlong sentence, the newspaper also reported.

“The state respects the judge’s decision,” District Attorney Scott Colom said.
