“We are grateful to God, family, friends and millions of people we don’t even know.”

Missing teen Heaven Cox, 15, was rescued from a home in Louisiana. She was unharmed and has been reunited with her family.

“After following several leads and speaking with numerous individuals, Orange County Investigators located Heaven Cox at a residence in Louisiana. Heaven was unharmed and has been reunited with her family this evening,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

“The residence where Heaven was located belonged to a relative of a person that was known by Heaven,” the statement read.

According to authorities, it appears that Heaven willingly left home on Saturday of her own accord. However, they are still investigating and have not ruled out criminal charges.

After reuniting with her daughter, Tammy Cox thanked everyone who worked to bring Heaven home.

“We are grateful to God, family, friends and millions of people we don’t even know. Our world became smaller this week as social media brought us all closer together in order to bring Heaven home,” she said.
