A North Carolina woman alleged was so negligent in getting medical care for the boy that he died. Deysi Yhuriko Martinez, 22, is jailed on a felony child neglect charge while prosecutors consider charges against another person relating to the injuries that went untreated. Ashawnty Davis reportedly confronted a school bully in late October, and the incident was caught on video. Her parents believe her “bullycide” was triggered after she was embarrassed by the posting of the video on a social platform.
