Nancy Grace honors pet heroes: Animals who save human lives

Crime never takes a holiday, but Crime Stories does. For this Christmas Day, Nancy Grace talks about how animals help humans — sometimes even saving lives. Her special guest include Jack Hanna, director emeritus of the famous Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and host of Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild and Wild Countdown, reporter and animal lover Jane Velez-Mitchell, creator of the animal rights website JaneUnchained.com, and two mom’s who credit dogs with saving the lives of their children.

Dorrie Nuttal tells the dramatic story of how a dog saved her son who suffers from diabetes.

Shanna Niehaus talks about Tornado, a service dog that helps her autistic son.

“Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” is also a national radio show, heard on SiriusXM’s Triumph Channel 132, five times everyday. You can subscribe and download the daily podcasts at iTunes and Google Play.
