Mark Salling Update: Autopsy FAILS to confirm pedophile ‘Glee’ star killed himself

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner released information on Thurs. regarding the of death of “Glee” star, Mark Salling, which was initially considered an apparent suicide.

DailyMail reports that an official coroner’s report indicated that Salling’s body was in a river bed on early Tues. morning. Previous reports stated that the 35-year-old actor and singer was found hanging from a tree and that authorities were treating the death as a suicide. However, the coroner’s report did not list an official cause of death.

A family member reported Salling missing on Tues. morning after failing to hear from him. His body was found the same morning, just before 9 a.m. near the Starwood Riding Club in Los Angeles, around six miles away from his home. Authorities found his car first, parked off road around 500 feet from where they found him.

FOX News reports that a police officer who was not authorized to speak about the case told the media Stalling was found hanging from a tree, but conflicting reports indicate his body was located in the river bed.

Salling pleaded guilty to child pornography charges days before he passed away. According to the Los Angeles Times, Stalling pleaded guilty to possessing overĀ 50,000 photos of child pornography, found on his laptop. An additional 4,000 pornographic photos of children were found on the actor’s thumb drive. Stalling was scheduled for sentencing on March 7.

The story is still developing and investigators are conducting further testing to determine the official cause of death. Check back with CrimeOnline as additional details become available.
