HIV-positive man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting young boy; second suspect still on the run

Police in Brookhaven, Georgia, are looking for a man who–along with a man who’s HIV-positive–allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy.

According to WGCL, Kelvin Armstrong, 38, and Kevin Walker, 46, (pictured left and right) are accused of snatching the victim and dragging him into a nearby apartment Monday afternoon. Police said the men held him captive in the apartment and raped him.

In a statement, spokesman Brandon Gurley told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Walker has since been arrested and faces multiple charges, including kidnapping, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, and reckless conduct–HIV infected person.

Meanwhile, Armstrong is wanted on charges of possession of meth, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, reckless conduct, kidnapping, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and first-degree cruelty to children.

“Armstrong is considered a danger to the public, and detectives fear that he may repeat this offense if not captured. He has an extensive criminal history and should not be approached by anyone other than law enforcement,” Brookhaven police cautioned in a statement.

Police described the suspect as being  5’11” and weighing about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
