At the time of the alleged incident, the suspects were homeless, living around the high desert area of Victorville. Their transient lifestyle made it difficult for authorities to locate them. The the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Hope Team eventually found the pair in December 2017, living in Victorville, around the riverbed area. During investigation, detectives learned through tips that the suspects allegedly performed sexual acts on their dogs.

On February 14, additional information provided by detectives resulted in arrest warrants for the suspects. They were detained off of Cottonwood St. and East St. in Victorville. Both suspects are charged with lascivious acts with a child. They remain behind bars on $200,000 bail, each.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Detective Lisa Guerra at (909) 387-3517. To leave an anonymous tip, call the We-Tip Hotline at (800) 782-7463.
