[Video] Gunman opens fire in crowded nightclub, hits at least 6 people: Cops

A Facebook user has uploaded raw video footage of the moment a gunman opened fire inside of a Kentucky nightclub last week, a crime police say left six people injured.

According to WDRB, the shooting occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday at Cole’s Place, a club on Louisville’s Kentucky Street.

Upon arrival, a statement from Louisville Metro Police indicated four gunshot victims were located at the scene and transported to an area hospital with injuries officials do not expect to be life threatening.

An additional pair of victims reportedly showed up at the hospital on their own to be treated for similar injuries.

Police indicate a seventh individual declined medical treatment after being grazed by a bullet or projectile during the incident.

Reporters spoke to an author scheduled to appear at the business later in the day Saturday. Rashanna Bryant, whose son was killed in a shooting at the age of 3, said she opted to hold her book signing as scheduled.

She further defended the club’s owner against any accusations that he was involved or responsible for the violence.

“He has done several things for my family, in the past with my son, different things with death in my family,” she said. “So I’m not just going to turn my back on the club or my community because of a shooting.”

As of the latest reports available, police had not announced an arrest in the case. Investigators hope video of the shooting will help them identify and locate a suspect.

Anyone with information related to the incident or the shooter is asked to call the Louisville Metro Police Department tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
