SEE IT: Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter records boyfriend high on PCP hours before he allegedly stabbed her to death

Video presented in court this week reportedly shows the boyfriend of Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter high on PCP hours before he allegedly stabbed her to death.

Per the Daily Mail, Manhattan Criminal Court was shown footage shot by E’Dena Hines, 33, on that fateful day in 2015. During the nearly three-minute video, Lamar Davenport, now 33, can be heard talking to a friend before turning his attention to Hines and angrily demanding her to turn off a light.

“Am I to walk toward it and die!? This is killing me stop it!” he says. “E’Dena turn off that f**king light!”

Davenport, 33, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder charges in connection with Hines’ stabbing death. His attorneys are arguing that Davenport was experiencing PCP-induced psychosis when he stabbed Hines 25 times and left her for dead, the New York Daily News reported.

Prosecutors maintain that Davenport was lucid enough to know what he was doing when he brutally killed his girlfriend.

This week, a woman who claims to have witnessed Davenport killing Hines took the stand. According to the newspaper, Cristina Aviles, 22, testified that Hines’ last words were “Why are you doing this?” as Davenport repeatedly stabbed her outside their apartment building.

“We really wanted to do something, but we were scared he was gonna attack us, too,” Aviles told reporters.

Aviles said that Davenport was talking about the devil as he repeatedly stabbed Hines. Davenport also said he had to exorcise “the demon out of her,” she recalled.

Hines’ mother, Deena Adair, is the daughter of Freeman’s first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw from a relationship before her marriage to Freeman. The actor adopted Adair when he and Bradshaw wed.
