URGENT: Las Vegas gunman on the run after killing woman at Venetian hotel employee picnic

A second victim is critically injured

A Venetian Hotel employee allegedly shot and killed a company executive during an employee picnic on Sunday, and he is still on the run.

According to Fox 5 Las Vegas, Anthony Wrobel, 42, allegedly approached a picnic table at a party in Sunset Park for employees of the Venetian Hotel, fatally shooting a woman in her mid-50s. A male at the picnic table was also shot, and reportedly remains in critical condition.

The suspect, who escaped the scene and has not yet been apprehended, is also a Venetian employee. At least one of the shooting victims is an executive at the hotel, and authorities have said the shooting was workplace violence. The relationship between the suspects and the victims is not yet known.

Wrobel is considered armed and dangerous. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs just under 200 pounds. Authorities found his vehicle at a local airport, and Wrobel’s whereabouts are unknown.
