An Arkansas woman is behind bars after authorities found her 1-month-old daughter deceased and inside a dryer in her family’s home on Thursday.

CBS6 reports that officers with the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Tyra Neal from her home in Pitts at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Authorities responded to the home after the father reportedly found his baby daughter, Caseleigh, inside the dryer.

According to police records, both parents were initially charged with baby’s death, but authorities later dropped the charges against the father. Neal’s in-laws told CBS6 that she has four other children; none of the other children were harmed.

Neel remains behind bars on charges of second-degree murder and abusing a corpse. It’s still unclear how the infant died, according to the sheriff’s office. An autopsy is currently being performed at the State Crime Lab in Little Rock.
