An Ohio woman will spend 12 years behind bars for allowing her boyfriend to sexually abuse her three young daughters—starting when they were between the ages of 7 and 9.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Elizabeth Smith, 32, gave Nicholas White, 29, “permission to engage in this activity and set parameters on the scope of the abuse,” which went back to 2013.

At one point, Smith had taken pictures of one of the girls’ genitals so White could add it to his growing child pornography collection, prosecutors said

Documents obtained by the newspaper stated that White had texted Smith last summer, asking if her 15-year-old daughter would engage in sexual activity with both of them. Instead of contacting authorities, Smith presented the teen with the text message.

Smith was handed down the prison sentence Friday after pleading guilty to four counts of endangering children for facilitating the unthinkable sexual abuse. Hamilton County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Schrimpf claimed he offered the Ohio mother a plea deal to spare the three girls from testifying.

The mother’s sentencing comes days after White was condemned to 30 years to life after pleading guilty to rape, child pornography, gross sexual imposition, and soliciting a minor for sex. According to the Enquirer, White revealed he was also a victim of childhood sexual abuse, which he believed caused him to victimize Smith’s three daughters.

The revelation did anything but move the sentencing judge.

Calling White “evil,” Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Patrick Dinkelacker said, “I have no compassion for you, whatsoever.”
