Four people have been killed in a mass shooting inside a Maryland newsroom on Thursday afternoon, according to preliminary reports.
CBS Baltimore reports that four people have been killed in a shooting at the office building of the Capital Gazette, a newspaper owned by the Baltimore Sun.
A suspect is reportedly in custody, but law enforcement has not yet released any details about the suspect, the arrest, or any possible motive. There is an active investigation, with very little information that has been confirmed.
A Capital Gazette reporter, Phil Davis, sent a series of tweets on Thursday afternoon, writing that he was hiding under his desk while he heard a gunman reloading his firearm.
There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you're under your desk and then hear the gunman reload

Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees. Can't say much more and don't want to declare anyone dead, but it's bad.
