UPDATE: Teen girl who vanished from home FOUND SAFE following emergency alert

Per WAFB, Chilton County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday morning that Daylee Ann Powell, 13, was found safe in a home in Chilton County. Additional information about the teen’s disappearance is unavailable at this point in time.

Authorities in Alabama are asking for the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl who reportedly vanished from her Cullman home on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Al.com, Daylee Ann Powell, 13, was last seen at her home at 4 p.m. Wednesday wearing a floral top, shorts and a blue denim vest. Police said her hair was in a French braid.

In their Emergency Missing Child Alert, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency described Powell as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 95-pounds. She also has green eyes, red hair, and a mole on her forehead and neck.
