Homeless man with no arms uses feet to stab passerby asking for directions: Cops

Authorities in Florida say a homeless man missing both of his arms stabbed a tourist walking early Tuesday morning in the Miami Beach area.

According to Fox News, 46-year-old Jonathan Crenshaw was arrested after he allegedly used his feet to grip a knife and stab 22-year-old Cesar Coronado in the arm.

The incident took place just after midnight and authorities said in a statement on Wednesday that the suspect claimed Coronado started the altercation.

Crenshaw, described as a homeless man, reportedly told police that the alleged victim kicked him in the head. Locals say he is frequently seen in the area and often sets up in a public place to demonstrate his ability to paint using his feet.

Police say he stabbed Coronado twice and the individual was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

A friend of the alleged victim, however, said the pair stopped to ask Crenshaw for directions when the unprovoked attack took place.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later.

Police arrested Crenshaw, who is expected to face charges including aggravated battery.

A local newspaper profiled the suspect for his artistic abilities a few years ago, according to the Miami Herald.

At the time, he offered a strange tale of a nomadic childhood with a mother who fed him rat poison. Upon reaching adulthood, he said he fathered hundreds of children by scores of women.

That list, he claimed, included singer Gloria Estefan, whom he said is the mother of 200 of his children.
