Career criminal with grudge against 7-Eleven manager dumps human waste inside store: Cops

Authorities in Florida say a man entered a convenience store this week and dumped a bucket of human excrement onto the floor and products on the shelves.

According to the New York Post, 41-year-old Damian Simms was arrested on suspicion of walking into a 7-Eleven in the St. Petersburg area and splashed the disgusting concoction onto store property at about 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

He was reportedly armed with a bucket of waste he had retrieved from a nearby portable toilet.

Police believe the incident was staged as part of an ongoing dispute between the suspect and store manager.

Reports indicate Simms had been asked to leave the business several months ago.

As the Smoking Gun reported, the incident soiled about $28 worth of store merchandise.

St. Petersburg police officer Donald Ziglar reported that the suspect gave off the “indication of alcohol influence.”

Sims was arrested and jailed with bond set at $300. He has since been released but has been ordered to stay away from the store and its manager.

He is expected to face misdemeanor charges of trespassing and criminal mischief.

The Smoking Gun published a list of previous felony and misdemeanor convictions, including grand theft, burglary, animal cruelty, disorderly intoxication, driving while drunk, loitering, and multiple weapons-related charges.
