Heartbroken woman shocked to see herself on police surveillance footage performing public sex act on a stranger — says she has no memory of it

A woman in England turned herself into police after seeing shocking CCTV footage of herself performing a sex act on a stranger on a train — an incident she insists she doesn’t remember.

Metro reports that a 16-year-old passenger on a train traveling through Berkshire called police after she was a man and a woman engaged in a sex act on the moving train. Police obtained CCTV video from the train, and released images to the public, presumably to identify the suspects.

Amanda Barrow, 43, was reportedly horrified to see herself in the images, with a man she didn’t know.

Barrow turned herself in to police, reportedly claiming that she had no recollection of the incident.

At a court appearance, Barrow’s defense attorney Steve Molloy said that his client was extremely intoxicated at the time of the incident, having fallen into binge drinking after a breakup from her partner. He said that Barrow would never have done anything like it had she been sober.

Molloy said that Barrow entered a rehab program and had stopped drinking, and that she was “extremely embarrassed by the public humiliation.”

Barrow was given a sentence of community service and a fine less than the equivalent of $1,000 U.S. dollars. She will be required to continue rehabilitation.
