Woman leaves her two kids in car with loaded guns as she works on her tan: Cops

Authorities in Kentucky have arrested a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of leaving her young children inside her vehicle with two loaded firearms as she went into a tanning salon for an appointment.

According to Fox News, Shepherdsville resident Monica Gentry entered the Louisville-area establishment on Tuesday as a 5-year-old and 5-month-old remained in the backseat.

A passerby alerted police upon noticing the children alone inside the vehicle.

Upon arriving, officers determined Gentry had been inside the Sun Tan City for about half an hour.

According to WDRB, the suspect was inside the salon receiving a tanning treatment as her children remained outside in the car.
